Reverend Arthur Hobba: Visionary Leader in Men's Development

Reverend Arthur is a visionary Men's Development Expert and the founder of a global movement that is transforming the lives of men, families, and entire communities through the power of Principle Based Leadership, a journey that began with a vivid, life-changing dream in 1980 calling him to serve our Father in Heaven as a representative of His heart as a "father to the fatherless," and has since spread to four continents, awakening and empowering over 50,000 men across Kenya, Uganda, Bolivia, Myanmar, and the United States. As the Founder and President of Core 300, a California-registered 501c3 non-profit corporation that founded a "daughter" work in Kenya which became Principle Based Leadership Family PBO today, and the Chairman and Founder of Principle Based Leadership Family, Reverend Arthur has dedicated his life to equipping men to become godly husbands, fathers, providers, and protectors who restore broken families to wholeness. His calling was shaped by God through suffering, as he has led a zig-zag pathway that included 14 years as a pastor, then migrating into senior management roles in 3 public companies. Using his skills and experience he founded Transcende, a strategic management consulting firm, and for 17-years he served large US businesses through assessment, leadership training, and companywide cultural transformation. During his work with Transcende, Reverend Arthur wrote five books—three of them being The Warrior, The Priest, and The King—where he trained men in 200 US churches for 5 years. Then a call came from Bungoma, Kenya to come do the Warrior conference.

In August of 2013 Reverend Arthur and his team presented The Warrior Course to 611 ministers. "The visual fall of the Spirit upon these men turned our hearts toward Kenya that week—and we have never looked back," says Reverend Arthur. By 2017, the growth in Kenya led to Reverend Arthur's retirement from Transcende, to focus solely on bringing catalytic training and follow-on holistic development to men in developing nations. Today, PBLF Coordinators in 16 Kenyan Counties and southeastern Uganda have been transforming men—who then transform their families, workplaces, churches, prisons, and governments. The movement quickly spread—by 2016 it had leapt from Kenya to the Bolivian jungle to be translated into Spanish, in 2018 Core 300 won a competitive bid to bring their program into all 105 men's and juvenile prisons in Kenya, in 2022 PBL launched in Uganda certifying 45 new Coordinators, and in 2025 the movement held its first Warrior conference in Myanmar, all driven by Reverend Arthur's core belief that if you can create an environment where God can access and transform the values of a man, he will do through that man the same for his family and community, and if you keep doing that over time, you can transform a nation.

In 2019 Core 300 created a landmark Wives' Survey which measured 5 areas of family-centric behaviors of their husbands as compared to their behaviors before their husbands graduated from The Warrior and The Priest courses. Dramatic changes have been recorded and validated by over 1,300 Wives' Surveys—consistently showing a 94% average "Improved" or "Much Improved" ratings across areas like GBV (97%), fatherhood engagement, economic support, and marriage enrichment. A compelling speaker who awakens audiences to effect change for good, Reverend Arthur holds degrees in Biology from CSUN and Pastoral Theology from Life Pacific University, and his unique perspective on manhood is deeply informed by his personal life—as the father of five sons, he has cut his teeth on just about every kind of father-son experience, including dating, substances, creative storytelling, faith, and attitude issues. 

Beyond his ministry and writing, Reverend Arthur enjoys swimming, diving, and everything about the sea, including spear fishing, and he humorously admits to struggling with a highly handicapped golf game.
